Corporate Label takes a Final Bite Into Buckley Legacy

There has been no shortage of posthumously released material from Jeff Buckley who was streaks ahead of his time and renowned as one of the most angelic, versatile singers and creative song writers to date.

But this time around, listening to this CD there is no need whatsoever. Previous releases such as Sketches From My Sweetheart The Drunk and Legacy editions of several albums have proven to give great insight to this extremely talented icon, but it should be time to leave him be. Columbia seem to just release and re-release Buckley’s music when ten year anniversaries crop up. Not only this, but they have now released the track Forget Her on three separate occasions even though Buckley banished it from appearing on Grace in the first place - and I quote, he said:

If I hear it again, I’ll throw up.

Yes, there are two versions of songs that debut on this compilation such as So Real recorded acoustically in Japan but don’t let this fool you into buying it.

Don’t support this corporate label money making scheme because that is all it is. Splash out with just a couple more golden coins and buy Grace and Live at Sin-e (Legacy Edition). Your actions will be generously rewarded and you’ll never look back, I promise.
