Charlotte - Air Traffic Single Review

Air Traffic
Single Review
The Libertines instantly spring to mind, minus the well-earned attitude. Fans of The Strokes and The Kooks will enjoy this but don't expect the same cult status that comes with either.
The song has been described as "majestic" and Zane Lowe has been at the fore of plugging the indie-rock group. But there's something all too familiar about the single, something all too overplayed. Charlotte possesses a real Babyshambles feel with similar overtly pronounced vocals a la Pete Doherty minus the intoxicated charm.
Not likely to become a nu-wave indie anthem but a decent addition to their upcoming album.
