Dancefloor - The Holloways Single Review

The Holloways
Single Review
Combining the strut of Milburn, the uncompromising twang of Babyshambles and the indie punk push of The Paddingtons gives this single from this bemused and rough spirited London outfit, some gush and grit. Cries of desperation climb out over a base of drilling guitars and battering percussion to send The Holloways, hopping towards the heavier end of the indie market. The rhythm is hypnotic and the pissed off nature is believable. The relive the Friday nights everyone wants to forget, but manage to make it sound more sordid than it probably was.
