Alarm Clock - The Rumble Strips Single Review

The Rumble Strips
Single Review
A modern hybrid of The Libertines and The Dead 60s merges big sounding ska, with striding and defiant indie to give off a weighty 80s impact. Lead singer and ex Vincent, Vincent and the Villains member Charlie Waller, stands at the forefront of this irreverent and rhythmic parade. Marching, then big sounding drumbeats dictate the direction and provide added buoyancy to a number that will fill dance-floors and set about an infectious chain of whistling to rival that of ‘Woo Hoo’ by the 5678’s, a few years back. Remember that?
