Raoul - The Automatic Single Review

Single Review
When this song was first released as part of an EP, most people who are heading to see them headline the NME Tour, probably thought that The Automatic were cheerleaders for a drag racing team. A post mod swagger climbs out from a hounding drumbeat intro, displaying Martin Stilwell's throaty and gruffer than usual cry. An intergalactic keyboard element and mystical lyrics provides a reminder of the adventurous side to this outfit. It will go someway towards hushing critics who feel that Da Automatic are not as big as previous NME Tour headliners.
