Krafty, New Order have certainly been in their 20-odd year existence (not including their 'Joy Division' incarnation), by managing to appeal to the 'New Wave' market (early 80s), dance fraternity (late 80s), pop/ crossover market in the early 90s - not forgetting your everyday Hackett-wearing England footy fan after the release of the cheesy (and forgettable) "World in Motion".
They certainly have an unmistakable "sound" - mainly defined by bassist Peter Hook's - ermm.. hooks - and Bernard Sumner's straight-no-chaser vocal delivery.
Never really known for their supremacy with regards to musicianship, they have nevertheless produced some stonkingly musical and memorable tracks in their lifetime.
Taken from the forthcoming album Siren's Call (their eighth studio album), Krafty is undeniably New Order, right from the opening cheesy bass synth - drum machine intro, through to the bass-driven chorus. There is an undeniable dance element to the track - as evidenced by the many dance remixes on the single. On that note (no pun), it would have been nice to have at least received another track rather than so many remixes - of what is not - after all a killer track.
