Nothing In This World - Paris Hilton Single Review

Single Review

Before hearing it, most people would probably expect, and hope for that matter, that Paris Hilton’s new release would be as horrible as her death in House of Wax.

Having reached the top five with her debut single Stars Are Blind, the planet’s most famous little rich girl is back with Nothing in this World, which is taken from her self-titled top 30 album.

Clearly her direction is to follow the shadows of other female sole artists in the mould of Kelly Clarkson with catchy power-pop songs like this one.

Make no mistake about it, after a few listens, this track is implanted in your head and quite difficult to remove and due to it’s simple and repetitive nature, this eventually gets rather annoying.

On the plus side, the remix versions on the CD wouldn’t be out of place in your average nightclub at the weekends but overall it ends up being rather empty and at best is just a poor man’s Pink.
