Killer pop ballad from one-time army captain turned singer-sonwriter James Blunt.This stunning song,his third single after High and Wisemen,is lifted from the best UK album in years.Back To Bedlam,now at number 4 in the official BBC album charts,is set to make him a household name.The original album version containing an expletive,has thankfully been edited to turn this into this year's most memorable and universal love song in a generation.Written by 27 year-old Blunt and collaborator Tom Rothrock,it is the most outstanding track from this finest of British talents.It comes as no real surprise,as the album's been a slow riser since its release late last year.His current UK tour has been pulling the fans at the speed of sound.I first saw Blunt supporting Katie Melua,whos success he's about to eclipse,giving the best support slot I've ever seen.His musical presence was there for all to hear,and now he's finally being recognised and rewarded with the long overdue plaudits and success.
Deserves to be a huge hit,and hopefully it'll be number one very soon.
