Martell - The Cribs Single Review

Single Review
Choral and thumping indie is what The Cribs that contain the three Jarman brothers from Wakefield, is all about if this indie trawler of a single is anything to go by. This catchy tune that is built around a bolstering drum beat gives a cheeky glimpse of the endearing cockiness of what could be indie's answer to the Jackson Five, only there are three of them. Joe Strummer meets Preston from The Ordinary Boys-vocals give the track a compelling kick.
The guys head out on a brief headline tour before hooking up with Mercury Prize nominees Maximo Park and The Kaiser Chiefs (have you heard of them?) for a riotous tour.
