Graffiti - Maximo Park Single Review

Single Review
Splashing their Geordie garage/indie rock sound with vigour, vitality and rasping rhythm this Tom English fronted quartet are a raw and refreshing bunch of no sap music lovers. The impact of ‘Graffiti’ can be described as a Friday night sound; a cathartic release that pushes woes to one side with precision and passion in a provocative manner. B-side ‘Trial and Error’ shows a slower more pop friendly side to this outfit and is something that may help them leap frog other bands of this ilk, giving them another dimension.
