Unique American classic-rock band formed in 1973 and familiar for their various members' face-paint, stage costumes and pyrotechnics.
Band members currently include Gene Simmons - vocals and bass, Paul Stanley - vocals and guitars and newer members Eric Singer - drums and Tommy Thayer - guitars.
Ace Frehley and Peter Criss were the other two founders.
Their albums since 1974 include "Kiss", "Destroyer", "Dynasty", "Lick It Up", "Crazy Nights" and "Monster".
