Established English double-bassist of varying genres and styles. He was a member of Pentangle and Alexis Korner's Blues Inc outfit in the '60s and '70s.
His own solo work includes "Whatever" and "Elemental".
As a contributor he has performed on albums by Kate Bush, Graham Coxon, David Sylvian, Peter Gabriel, Talk Talk, Songhai and Kathryn Tickell amongst others.
