DJ. TV presenter and former model from Bolton.
Her TV breakthrough came in 1996 when she fronted the short-lived but much talked about 'The Girlie Show' on late night Channel 4.
In 1998 Cox took over as a presenter of the Channle 4 show 'The Big Breakfast' and then, in 1999, took up the high pressure job of hosting the Radio 1 breakfast show.
After a successful five years on breakfast, Cox went on to a range of jobs at the network, including regular stand-in duty on the Chris Moyles Breakfast Show.
