Annual nomination listing and award, founded in 2002 and sponsored and promoted by the BBC, designed to give exposure to 15 pre-determined up-coming/ground-breaking artists from across the globe.
The winner in 2013 is HAIM. 2nd place went to AlunaGeorge, 3rd Angel Haze, 4th Laura Mvula and Chvrches 5th.
Other nominees included: A*M*E, Arlissa, King Krule, Kodaline, Little Green Cars, Palma Violets, Peace, Savages, The Weeknd and Tom Odell.
