A collective project name for an experimental folk-pop outfit led by L.A. musician Ariel Pink (aka Ariel Rosenberg).
His early work is derived from hours and hours of bedroom-recordings, often using his body as a musical instrument.
In 2009, Pink's breakthrough came with a recording deal with 4AD, after a few re-issues appeared on Animal Collective's Paw Tracks label.
Key releases include "House Arrest", "Before Today" and "Mature Themes".
