Legendary Irish broadcaster whose residency on Radio 2's Breakfast Show has continued since 1993 (due to end in 2010).
He originally presented his breakfast show on Radio 2 from 1972 to 1984 before turning to hosting TV chatshows.
He has worked tirelessly for BBC's fund-raising event, 'Children In Need'.
