Originally formed by Robert Calvert and Dave Brock (of Hawkwind) from the ashes of The Sonic Assassins in 1978.
Following their critically acclaimed 2012 album release 'We Are One' Hawklords return to the UK tour circuit with a new show featuring many classic 'Hawk' songs alongside brand new material from the forthcoming 2013 CD release,'Dream', plus songs from 'We Are One' .
The live shows feature a stunning digitally projected lightshow specially created by lighting designer extraordinaire, Dave 'Lighthouse' Johnson.
As of 2013, the band features founder member Harvey Bainbridge - Synthesizer and Vocals plus Dave Pearce - Drums (The Bevis Frond), Jerry Richards - Guitar and Vocals (veteran of the UK free festival scene of the ‘80s/ producer with Hawkwind ‘90s to Noughties), Adrian Shaw - Bass and Vocals (bassist and writer with Hawkwind for the classic 'Quark, Strangeness & Charm' and 'PXR5' albums 1975 – 1977) and Ron Tree - Lead vocals, Oscillators and Swazzle (survivor of the ‘80s UK free festival scene and lead vocalist, bassist and writer with Hawkwind, 90's to Noughties).
