3 stage, 3 day festival of folk arts, music, song and dance. Featuring over two dozen different concerts and dances as well as participatory workshops, dance displays and street entertainers, food and market area.
The festival also features youth and children's events taking place throughout the weekend making this a real family festival.
The main festival site is based around the local cricket club with excellent camping facilities on the adjacent farm.
2008 lineup includes: Bellowhead, Peggy Seeger with Norma Waterson, Martin Carthy and Mike Waterson, Demon Barbers, Mawkin:Causley, Spiers and Boden, Bella Hardy Trio, John Tams and Barry Coope, Roy Bailey and John Kirkpatrick, Whapweasel, Uiscedwr, Hekety, Breabach, Park Bench Social Club, Emily and Hazel Askew, Crowfoot, Roger Davies, Ella Edmondson, Mick Ryan and Pete Harris, Vicky Swan and Jonny Dyer, 'La Brianzola' from Italy, 4 Square, Will Noble, Bradshaw Mummers and more.....
