Award-winning American rock guitarist virtuoso and songwriter who has been recording since the '80s.
He began as a rock-instrumentalist before using jazz and blues as a basis for the music and structure of his later works.
His key albums include "Not Of This Earth" (1986), "Surfing With The Alien" (1987), "Flying In A Blue Dream" (1989), "Time Machine" (1993) and "Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards" (2010).
Apart from his solo work, he is also a member of the straight-rock outfit Chickenfoot with ex-Van Halen musicians Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony and the Chili Peppers' drummer, Chad Smith.
