Grammy-award winning afric-pop/soul singer-songwriter from Benin.
She signed to Island Records in 1991 who released her debut album "Logozo" (it featured an impressive cast-list including Manu DiBango and Branford Marsalis).
She has appeared at several world music festivals as well as helping African music cross-over to a wider audience. Her 2007 album "Djin Dijn" featured collaborations with contemporary artists including Peter Gabriel.
She is a LiveEarth ambassador and has often donated her songs to global causes.
