One of the early American jazz artists to crossover into mainstream popularity. Started off as a jazz pianist in a trio - a trio minus a drummer!
Had the most memorable, amazing, smooth voice of any of his (then and now) peers. 'Let there be Love', 'When I fall in Love', 'Nature Boy' and 'Unforgettable' are just some of his massive hits. 'Unforgettable' later became a hit 'duet' accompanied by his daughter Natalie Cole.
