For all his awards, widespread acclaim and many commercial and critical hits, he is still best known for his 1984 song 'Hallelujah', covered many times and most famously by Jeff Buckley in 1994.
Other releases include the albums "Songs of Leonard Cohen", "I'm Your Man" and "Old Ideas".
