Front man of Audioslave, and former front man of Soundgarden Chris Cornell is set to record the theme for the latest James Bond film ‘Casino Royale’. The song, titled ‘You Know my Name’, co-written by composer David Arnold is expected to be released in November and the film will make it’s World debut in London on the 14th November, featuring the debut of Daniel Craig as Bond.

There were early rumours that Goldfrapp were going to record the theme, but they were quickly dispelled by film insiders.

Cornell will be the first man to sing a bond theme since A-Ha’s ‘The Living Daylights’, and joins an impressive roster of artists who have recorded songs for the film, including: Sir Paul McCartney, Tina Tuner, Duran Duran, Carly Simon, Moby and most recently Madonna.
