Despite all the 'baby shambles' of recent times, drummer Adam Ficek has found time for a side project!
Roses Kings Castles is a one-man band, "just Adam Ficek" as he likes to put it on his Myspace, whose eponymous debut album went on general release last September to much critical acclaim.
RKC's third single, 'Horses' will be out on December 7th, succeeding 'Sparkling Bootz' and 'Entroubled'.
In the meantime, Ficek is said to be contributing his musicianship to bandmate Peter Doherty's own solo debut, produced by royalty in the craft, Stephen Street (who has worked with the likes of Blur and The Smiths).
But let's keep the focus on Adam (for once and appropriately so):
Roses Kings Castles will be touring the UK from January 5th through to January 28th, stopping by the cities of Bournemouth, Wakefield, Hull, Preston, Sunderland and Wrexham, among more predictable ones. Surprisingly so, no London date has been announced yet, but it's only a matter of time before you see Adam gatecrash somebody's house party!
