'New' Police film to be released on DVD in September
News

A film shot by former Police drummer Stewart Copeland back when trio The Police were starting to make a name for themselves is to be released in September.
The footage was captured by Stewart between 1979 and 1980 his Super 8 camera, and includes scenes of the band doing day-to-day chores as well as rehearsing, being chased by groupies and candid moments between Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart himself.
It premiered earlier this year at Robert Redford's Sundance Festival in January.
After getting into film editing on his Mac, Stewart started tinkering with his old footage - and a film was born.
The final film includes the Super 8 footage and a mixture of live recordings and original backing tracks.
