So, it seems Mr Lamontagne has a bit of a thing for Meg White - one half of the alternative rock/ blues duo The White Stripes.

So much so, latest album 'Gossip in the Grain' includes a little ditty written especially for the drummer/ singer - and one-time wife of Stripes' lead singer/ guitarist Jack White. The track is not currently on his myspace site, but you can check it - in all of it's cheesy "Meg White, such a pretty site" glory in the Stereogum link to the right.

You'd have thought it was a bit of a spoof, containing other memorable lines such as ; "saw you on the big screen... oh Jack was keen, but you stole the scene", "playing those drums is hard to do, it's true, but nobody plays them quite like you". It seems that it is the real deal, though, being as it's listed as one of the tracks from the forthcoming album (to be released next month).
