The Streets video set to break record
News

Mike Skinner's The Streets are to release a 20 minute music video, in collaboration with MTV which will total 20 minutes - 7 minutes longer than the previous record - Michael Jackson's Thriller. The MTV collaboration is to celebrate 25 years(!) of MTV's existence.
The footage was filmed by 5 MTV viewers, which Mike used as inspiration for the song. The five have created quite a varied set of films, including following Police in Strathclyde, the streets of Birmingham, a spoof about cheerleaders and last but not least, a film on the trail of bigfoot.
Unfortunately(?), no one had the foresight to include a "Bo Selecta"-style Michael Jackson in homage to the video whose duration this will displace.
It will air on 1st August, and it remains to be seen whether it will attract the audience size of MJ's effort.
