Kids Week in the West End - keeping the children entertained in the summer holidays
News

It’s that age-old conundrum: the kids are off of school for six weeks, and “they’re bored”, so you’re going to need to find something to keep them out of trouble.
Fortunately, this year’s Kids Week has recently been announced, with activities for children ranging from toddlers to teenagers. The annual two week event features many shows and activities for children to participate in and is backed by The Society Of London Theatre (in it’s 100th year this year, coincidentally), and runs between 15th and 29th August.
This year, all of the major west end shows are participating, including High School Musical, Mamma Mia, Grease, Phantom of the Opera, Billy Elliot, Les Miserables, Joseph, The Sound of Music, Hairspray and many, many more, including some shows staged especially for the event. Some of the activities feature workshops where the kids can get involved, or Q&A sessions.
Do me a deal, guv'nor!
Yes, but the west end is expensive. True, but the deal is this: for each full price-paying adult, you get one free child ticket. When purchasing tickets, you need to specify the number of adults and number of free child tickets required.
