After a hiatus from the UK of many years, and a thirteen year period since their last album, Extreme are back!

The band rocketed into the public eye with the 1990 hit song ‘More than Words’ and the album ‘Pornograffitti’, and carried on the trend a few years later with ‘III Sides to Every Story’. Their last studio album was 1995’s ‘Waiting for the Punchline’, which didn’t fair as well as their previous efforts, and two years later the guys disbanded - giving guitarist Nuno Bettencourt a chance to release his debut (and to-date, only) solo album 'Schizophonic' (not counting 2002's 'Population 1 ' project).

Latest album ‘Saudades de Rock’ is due out on 12th August, produced by Nuno, and is the first to feature new drummer Kevin Figueiredo.

The guys are currently in the midst of a US tour taking them to August 26th and have just announced a winter 2008 UK tour, which currently sees them play dates in Leeds, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Newport, Southampton, Birmingham and London, kicking-off at Leeds’ Academy on 14th November.

Tickets go on sale on Friday 18th July at 9:00AM.
