Coldplay announce December UK 2008 dates

Coldplay yesterday announced ten winter UK dates. The quartet, who made recent single ‘Violet Hill’ available for free one week prior to its commercial release will play dates in Birmingham (x2), Glasgow (x2), Sheffield, Liverpool, Manchester (x2) - culminating with two dates in London’s O2 arena just before Xmas on 14th and 15th December.
The band’s latest album ‘Viva la Vida or Death and all his Friends’, produced by Brian Eno and Markus Dravs is out on CD/ vinyl on 12th June.
Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday (30th May) at 9:30AM.
