The Pigeon Detectives cancel two Ireland dates after injury
News

The Pigeon Detecives have just announced the cancellation of two of this week’s gigs in Ireland – Dublin on 13th and Belfast on 14th May – after an injury sustained whilst performing yesterday.
The band were performing at at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Maidstone when Lead singer Matt Bowman injured his leg during the set, but managed to complete the full set. After being transferred to Leeds hospital yesterday, he has been advised to take it easy, but the band still plan to go ahead with the mainland part of their tour starting this Friday in Glasgow.
Of course, the band were asking for trouble, since they were performing current single ‘This is an Emergency’ (released today) at the time of the injury...
The guys are looking to reschedule both the Dublin and Belfast dates and extend their apologies to the fans.
