It is a definite that the mighty rock band The Who are to perform a special acoustic session on Sunday 13th April 2008 at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall. Other performers on the night include Joan Armatrading, Amy MacDonald, David Gray and Newton Faulkner.

This concert is in support of Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT), which The Who’s Roger Daltrey is a patron of. It is Daltrey’s influence that makes these annual gigs possible and successful – this year marking the 8th year of the TCT gigs at the Royal Albert Hall. The aim of the shows is to raise funds for desperately needed teenage cancer units and awareness for TCT.

The series of six concerts this April will feature performances from Madness with The Holloways on 8th, Noel Fielding plus guests on 9th, Paul Weller and Steve Cradock with special guest Duffy on 10th, The Fratellis plus guests on 11th, Muse plus guests on 12th, and last but not least the special performance featuring The Who, Joan Armatrading, Amy MacDonald, David Gray and Newton Faulkner on 13th.

Tickets are still available for some of the gigs.
