This year’s Teenage Cancer Trust benefit concerts have just been announced. The four nights will take place at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall, with a suitably stellar lineup.
The event – now in it’s 8th year - kicks-off on 9th April with the Mighty Boosh’s Noel Fielding and guests. The next night, it is Paul Weller, Ocean Colour Scene’s Steve Cradock and Welsh sensation Duffyin a special acoustic performance. The Fratellis and guests will perform on Friday 11th April with Devon’s finest, Muse finishing the dates on Saturday 12th April.
Teenage Cancer Trust patron The Who’s Roger Daltrey had this to say:
These shows, now in their eighth year, continue to help Teenage Cancer Trust raise essential funds to build specialist teenage cancer units within the NHS. In 2008, the charity will open five new units and will start building work on a further two. This means that many more teenagers with cancer will have access to one of our units and will get the support they need to fight this disease.
Tickets for the shows go on sale Friday 22nd February at 10:00AM.
