News

The Canadian circus phenomenon, Cirque Du Soleil, have announced their latest show ‘Delirium’ to be performed in Glasgow.

The entertainment group from Montreal began back in 1979 when founder Guy Lailiberte became a musician, a busker and learned the art of fire-breathing. Since then Cirque Du Soleil have travelled to many countries showing off skills such as acrobatics, contortionism and aerial stunts wrapped in styles and cultures from all over the world.

Now for the first time Cirque Du Soleil will perform in Glasgow at the SECC and in Belfast at the Odyssey Arena in April. This latest show, ‘Delirium’, is a multi-media experience with many artists including 8 musicians, 11 dancers, 6 singers, 8 acrobats and 3 actors.

Cirque Du Soleil are also performing at the Royal Albert Hall this month with another show ‘Varekai’ and plan to open a new show in China in May.

Tickets for ’Delirium’ range from £45-55 and are on sale now.
