Jack Johnson - New album released and UK tour announced for July

Jack Johnson fans will be pleased to know that he will be back in UK this July. He will kick off his tour on 2nd July in London Hyde Park and also cover Birmingham on 3rd, Newquay (Watergate Bay) on 5th and Manchester on 7th. Supporting him on this tour are Mason Jennings and G Love & Special Sauce. Trivia time: Watergate Bay in Newquay is where they film the ITV soap “Echo Beach” starring Jason Donovan, Martine, McCutcheon and Hugo Speer.
Hawaiian born Johnson - founder of Bushfire Records, is a keen surfer and is well known for his songwriting, film making and his involvement with environmental organisations. He has contributed to a number of Soundtracks including ‘Curious George’, ‘A Brokedown Melody’, ‘Thicker Than Water’ and ‘September Sessions’.
Coinciding with the tour is the release of his fifth album ‘Sleep Through The Static’, which was released this week. Being very environmentally aware, Jack recorded this latest album with 100% solar energy!
