Crowded House and The Charlatans added to the Forest Tour 2008
News

This year’s ‘Forest Tour’, after the success of the previous years will run from 7th June through to 19th July, altogether 14 dates. Having already announced a great lineup including: Status Quo, Katherine Jenkins, Jools Holland and his band, and James Morrison, the organisers have just added two more impressive acts to the tour – aiming to make 2008 an even better experience. They are the amazing, recently-reformed Crowded House and Birmingham’s finest: The Charlatans.
The ‘Forest Tour’ was first started back in 2000 by the Forestry Commission, to bring new audiences into the forests, and encourage people to see their woodlands in new and exciting ways. The concerts are self-sustaining and provide valuable revenue to plough back into the management of UK woodlands in a variety of social and environmental projects. This is a good cause tour - well loved by audiences and artists alike.
Tickets for Crowded House and the Charlatans go on sale this Friday at 9:00AM. For all other acts, tickets are already on sale
