Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have announced their European tour dates for 2008. The tour is their first since the sold out Abattoir Blues/ Lyre of Orpheus tour in 2004/2005.
There are 4 dates for their UK/ Ireland tour starting in Dublin on 3rd May at the Heineken Green Energy Festival, Glasgow on 4th, Birmingham on 5th, ending in London at Hammersmith Apollo on 7th May.
Tickets go on sale from 9.00am on Friday 1st February.
Australian Nick Cave, who is known for his music and song writing, is also an author, screenwriter, and occasional actor. He recently finished work on the soundtrack to the current Brad Pitt film 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford' along with Warren Ellis.
Nick and the band have been together since 1984, and have released 13 studio albums. Their long awaited 14th album ‘Dig, Lazarus, Dig’ is out on 3rd March, with the first single – the title track – out on 18th February.
