Hard Rock Calling 2008

The "Hyde Park Calling" concerts are back once again. This year the concerts receive the name of their backer: Hard Rock International, hence the new name for the event 'Hard Rock Calling'. This is part of Hard Rock's third annual "Ambassadors of Rock Tour", featuring top artists and bands to help charities worldwide. In the past tours, we saw performances from the likes of Roger Waters, The Who, Peter Gabriel and Aerosmith.

This unique two day musical event will be held over a weekend in June on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th. The legendary artists announced so far are Eric Clapton and The Police. There will be more acts announced shortly for both dates, and many more surprises in store for all ages of music and festival fans.

Eric Clapton will be returning to Hyde Park after a decade on Saturday 28th June with special quests Sheryl Crow and John Mayer. The Police, after reforming last year and their mega successful world tour, are to headline on Sunday 29th June with special guests KT Tunstall and Starsailor.

Tickets go on sale from 9.00am on Friday 1st February 2008, priced at £50 for Saturday and £65 for Sunday. Weekend tickets are available for £110, but these will be limited.
