Unitaur – Free UK gigs in October and November
News
There’s no such thing as a free lunch, so they say, but there is such a thing as a free gig, and Unitaur are putting on nine of them across the UK this month and next.
Unitaur? What’s that? It’s a series of gigs, featuring Canadian boy/ girl duo "Crystal Castles", Southend-based big beat/ electro-punk quartet "These New Puritans" and Parisian trio "The Teenagers".
The tour is backed by "Blyk", a new mobile network for 16-24 year olds that links up with brands and gives free texts and minutes every month.
The tour takes in nine university towns, including Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Bristol, Nottingham, Brighton and London. The first event takes place at Glasgow’s ABC 2 on 30th October.
