Pixies: No more recorded material, but will still tour

News

After his recent confession of 'writers block' when it came to writing new material for the Pixies, lead singer/ songwriter Frank Black has announced that they will not record any new material.

He also stated in Uncut magazine that the relationship between him and bassist Kim Deal has 'improved' since they first split in 1991.

The Pixies recorded five studio albums in total between 1987 and 1991: Come on Pilgrim, Surfer Rosa, Doolittle, Bossanova, Surfer Rosa, and Trompe le Monde - which leaves them a lot of material to play live.
