The Runners debut single 'Get in Line' released 16th July

Herts-based The Runners release their debut single get in Line next week on Weekender records. The four piece, featuring Gus Cox - Vocals, Guitar & Keys, – Clive Romanowski - Lead Guitar & backing vocals, James Thomson - Bass & backing vocals and Clint Henderson - Drums & backing vocals – recently won the Red Stripe Music Award competition, which got them a place at London’s Lovebox festival.
The winners were chosen by industry insiders John Kennedy (XFM), Stuart Clarke (Music Week), Guy Garvey (Elbow), Will Kinsman (Fly) and Marsha Shandur (XFM). The band will be appearing alongside The Blood Arm, The Maccabees, The Pigeon Detectives and Mumm-ra on the Barfly stage on Sunday 22nd July.
The two track single is out next week via download and on limited edition 7" vinyl through weekender records and features "Get in Line" and "Familiar Faces".
