Now in its 11th year, the multi award-winning musical featuring the hit songs of Queen, has been a resounding success. Written by award-winning comedian and author Ben Elton in collaboration with Queen's guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor, 'We Will Rock You' debuted in the West End in 2002 at its present location - the Dominion Theatre in Tottenham Court Road.
Set in the future, the story centres on a planet once called Earth but now under the governance and watchful eye of globalisation and Ga Ga world. Musical instruments have been banned, downloads are comprised only of pre-designed muzak and everyone looks, thinks and says the same things. But, there is resistance from an ever-growing faction that believes in the old Earth. Can Galileo save the world and help everyone break free?
