Senegalise singer Youssou N'Dour who shot to prominence in the UK after his collaborations with Peter Gabriel and Neneh Chery - plays two dates at the IndigO2 in London this summer.
Staying with the overseas theme - Swedish Cello rock band (no, you did not mis-read) Apocalyptica - who specialise in renditions of Metal classics by Metallica, Faith No More, Sepultura and Pantera - play UK dates in Manchester (X2), London and Birmingham. Open your mind as well as your ears!
Back over to this part of the World - specifically, Sheffield - home of respected singer/ songwriter Richard Hawley, who plays a number of UK dates this September.
80s electro-pop/ futurist Gary Numan adds an extra date to his UK schedule in July - this one in Liverpool's Academy.
Finally, Manchester-based alternative/ indie band Nine Black Alps play June dates in London, Manchester and Birmingham.
