The Strokes' front man Albert Hammond Jr has just been added to the now rather large and certainly impressive lineup at this year's Lattitude festival. His debut solo album Yours To Keep - released towards the end of last year was well received by the public and critics alike.
Mexican acoustic guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela will be playing the "Uncut" stage this year. The Dublin-based duo combine diverse musical styles in their music including World music, rock, classical and Latin, and are much loved by our very own Elly Roberts.
Also added to the lineup are BBC World music award winners - Tinariwen - one of the first Malian "Tuareg" bands to embrace the electric guitar.
Up-and-coming acts Wallis Bird and Karima Francis join a stellar lineup which includes headliners Damien Rice, The Good, The Bad and The Queen and Arcade fire, as well as Jarvis (Jarvis Cocker), Wilco, CSS, The Rapture, The National, The Magic Numbers, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Midlake, Gotan Project, Patrick Wolf and Explosions In The Sky.
Latitude 2007 takes place at Henham Park in Suffolk starting on Friday 13th July, running until Sunday 15th July.
