Glastonbury 2007 expands and adds Shirley Bassey to lineup

This year's Glastonbury festival will be the biggest in recent years, with the capacity now at 177,500 - up 27,500 after the negotiations for a four year license from Mendip council.

Just under 400,000 fans have registered for tickets, which go on sale on Sunday 1st April.

Dame Shirley Bassey has just been confirmed for the festival. The 70 year old Goldfinger and Diamonds are Forever singer (to name but two) will take to the stage on Sunday 24th June.

The 2007 headline acts include The Who, Arctic Monkeys and The Killers.
