Bit of a metal/ rock theme to this announcement. US metal megastars Metallica have just announced a Wembley Stadium date for 8th July - part of their 'Sick of the Studio 07' tour - tickets on sale now.

Ex-Sabbath front man (not to mention reality TV star) Ozzy Osbourne plays a gig in his hometown at the Birmingham NIA on 6th July. Tickets go on sale Thurs 22nd March at 9:00 AM.

Alice Cooper has just added Wembley and Bournemouth dates to his winter tour, which sees him play dates in Sheffield, Glasgow, Newcastle, Brighton, Dorset, London and Manchester.

Finally, german rockers Scorpions have just announced a summer UK date at Manchester's Evening News Arena.

Tickets are available for all of the above gigs.
