Fat Friday 5th August 2011: Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds , Maverick Sabre, My Morning Jacket, Nero, Van Morrison and more

The post-Oasis Gallagher bunfight began in earnest this week as brother Noel unveiled his High Flying Birds project, complete with the first of many live shows to plug the upcoming new album. Will they sell quicker than Beady Eye's? We reckon so...

Elsewhere, it's a corking week with young pups on full display - Maverick Sabre, Nero and Wolf Gang - and established entertainers like Van Morrison, Nigel Kennedy and Penn & Teller lending their entertaining expertise.

Tickets on-sale Friday at 9am unless stated. For ticket availability, click on the "Buy Tickets" buttons below, on or after the on-sale date and time. Prices quoted are not inclusive of booking fees.
