Desmond Dekker dies of heart attack

Reggae superstar Desmon Dekker - famous for the excellent 1969 song 'Israelites' has died of a heart attack at his Surrey home at the age of 64.
The single 'Isrealites' reached number one in the UK charts - no mean feat for a reggae song and he later had a hit with the Jimmy Cliff number 'You can get it if you really weant'.
He is reported as having been physically fit, and it comes just weeks after his last UK gig at Leeds university.
