The Police: reunion on the cards for 2007?

2006 will probably be remembered as the year of the reunion, with countless bands reforming or announcing tours after a long hiatus.
And 2007 starts-off no different, and this is a biggy: The Police - the darlings of the early 80s, disbanded in 86.
It is reported on Sting's website - www.sting.com - that "something special" will take place to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the re-release of Roxanne - the song which propelled the band into the stratosphere after it's second release.
Billboard magazine cites sources which hint at a possible reunion.
So, it's all quite vague at the moment, and anything less than a reunion will certainly be deemed as not "very special"....
