Thought I'd focus on tribute acts today, since we seem to have quite a few acts today with new dates announced for 2007, including two for the Pink Floyd tributes: Pink Fraud and Australian Pink Floyd. The majority of the gigs are playing at the Sheffield venue formerly known as the Boardwalk, The Dove and Rainbow and now known again as the Boardwalk (do you think they got their naming advice from Prince?).
Pink Fraud play their in March as do Led Zepellin tribute: Letz Zep.
T Rex tribute act T-Rextasy also play in March, as do Jam tribute The Jamm.
The Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart tribute act "The Muffin Men" play the Boardwalk in April and AC/DC tribute act Livewire playin February.
Staying with the Boardwalk - this time with originals, Wishbone Ash, guitarist Johhny Dickinson, Nick Harper, Wilko Johnson and Kent Duchaine are all playing dates their in 2007.
